Saturday night, we headed down to the beach and found this touring dinosaur museum from Argentina. We learned that the oldest dinosaur bones ever discovered came from Argentina. After watching a short video, we were allowed to walk through the displays.
It is hard to see from this angle, but the dinosaur in the forefront had a head shaped like a salamader but with a body like a long frog. We gave it the award for the weirdest dinosaur in the show.
I'm glad we didn't live in days of the dinosaurs. This guy here is pretty scary. I am afaid of little dogs. I wouldn't be able to handle a creature like this one.
These models were very cool, but especially enjoyed the last room where the bones were displayed.
These fossil replicas are pretty amazing in person.. We could all have easily walked under the belly of this dinosaur with out having to bend down at all.
Dave was tall enough to stick his head up behind the jaws of this predator.
Watch out Emily, you are about to be eaten by two big dinosaurs!

We had to get this picture of Evan with a platypus. Evan's favorite show is Phineas and Ferb on the Disney channel which we get here in Chile in Spanish. On the show they have a platypus that is a secret spy angent. Evan was surprised to see what an ancient platypus looks like. In Spanish a platypus is called an ornitorinco. Both names are equally weird, I say.
