BJ's 9th Birthday

BJ was so excited for his birthday.  The day before, we made his cake together.  He wanted to do it all by himself.  He really did a great job with it.

 Before Dad left for work, he opened his presents that he had helped pick out last week when he and Mom had taken the bus downtown to do some shopping.

 A Nerf blaster and a bouncy ball that blinks and glows when you throw it.  Good choices BJ.

 BJ has been such a joy to have in our family.  He has such a sweet heart.  Every day, many times a day, he gives his family hugs and kisses.  He has started giving barnacle hugs which are hugs that stick on like a barnacle and don't come off.   He wants to be the peacemaker and really thinks about how others are feeling.  He is so polite and understanding when we have to tell him no.  He has a silly side that he doesn't show to too many people outside of family.  He is a hard worker in school and wants to do well and follow the rules.  We are just so happy that he is part of our family.

Happy Birthday BJ! 

As the final part of his birthday celebration we went to the theater to watch the new Muppets Movie...Los Muppets in spanish.
