The Church is true in Chile too

We had such a great experience at church yesterday in our new ward in Chile.  We were very nervous to go not being able to speak the language and all.  In fact, there were a few tears shed in anticipation of this day (me included).  But, when we go there all our fears were put to rest immediately.  The people are amazingly friendly.  It felt like we were long lost family members that these people had been just waiting for for years.  We had a dozen or so people greet us before Sacrament meeting to welcome us.  The custon here is to give "besitos" or little kisses on the cheek.  We were showered with hugs and kisses and "bien venidos" from so many people.  It didn't really matter that we spoke very little Spanish.  The loved us anyways.  We were so happy that after sacrament meeting about 5 girls surrounded Emily and showed her where to go to get to Young Women's.  They embraced her and taught her some words and she taught them some as well.  The primary was just the same.  They divide the kids into about 3 classes so there are about 15 kids in each group.  Evan was so scared, but as soon as they started coloring, he was fine.  The whole day just couldn't have gone better.

Today we started our home schooling.  We are a little early but we figured it would be a good idea to get a jump on it.  There are some fine details to work out, but it seems to going well.  After school we walked down to the local panedaria for some fresh bread.  The sun is out today and it is just beautiful.  We are feeling so blessed to be able to have this experience.
