We were able to get a rental car yesterday. When Dave came home from work, the first thing the kids wanted to do is go to the beach. The sun was already going down, but we raced off and caught the last of the glow ove the water.
The beach is covered with shells. Dave tells us that in the fall months there are even more shells scattering the shores.
Here is the way we dry the clothes. We have a laundry line that zigzags back and forth across the back patio that provides plenty of room to dry our clothes.
When we are all done with our schooling, the kids like to catch a show or two on the Disney Channel (all dubbed in Spanish of course). Their favorite show is Phineas and Ferb.
We have been delighted to discover that the fresh produce prices here are really low. Last night with our rental car, we hit the local supermarket "Jumbo" to stock up on supplies.
The Kiwi ( Emily's favorite) were about $1.75 for all of those. The avocados are about a dollar a pound. We are just loving all the fresh fruits that are available and inexpensive and it is still winter here!
