Back to the fish market to get some fresh fish for dinner. This shore bird we hadn't seen before was nice enough to pose for a picture in front of the yellow fishing boats.
BJ is practice Mr. Miagi's famous crane kick while Evan shows of his balancing skills.
We've driven past this hill in Coquimbo many times, but today we decided to get out and give it a try. This switchback gives the locals a shortcut down to the main part of town.
Grandpa and Evan decided to have a race. Bill was able to keep up with Evan, sadly mom could not.

The stairs continue on the other side of the street, but we decided we'd gone far enough.
Next we had lunch at the beach and the boys tried out the water. This cove on the other side of Coquimbo is quite sheltered with little waves. It makes a good spot for swimming.
