This is where we do a lot of our shopping. Lider is owned by Walmart. We can find some of the things we crave from home in the imported section like maple syrup and Great Value brand spaghetti sauce.
We have really grown to love the fresh bread here. Our favorites are Hallulla which is like a flat, dense bun. We like to make mini pizzas with it using the great value sauce and Gouda laminada queso (Gouda cheese).We also like Pan Marquetta which is basically a smaller version of french bread that we can find at home. It is baked in little four packs. This bread is good with just about everything.
Grandpa Bill pointed out to us that when you divide the four pack of Pan Marquetta in half it resembles a person's backside. So, for Grandpa's sake, was started calling it (and I apologize) butt bread.
