Dad was able to get a permit to get wood from a local almond grower. Every once in a while he will stop at the orchard and cut through a few of the fallen trees and bring them home. The kids all "get to" (honestly they feel pretty good after helping Dad out) bring the wood from the car to the side yard where Dad will chop the wood into usable pieces for firewood. What do you think...a year's supply of fuel?
Now we will get to enjoy more of this during the next winter...
There is nothing like a nice warm fire on a cold December night!
