The making of the "trajes"

The ladies in the La Serena area have been sewing the costumes or trajes for the 50th anniversary of missionary work in Chile for months now.  I have tried to go and help when I could.
The sisters have been very patient with me and my struggles to learn Spanish.  There are about 60 girls and 60 boys from two stakes that will  be participating.  That is a lot of costumes to sew.  Some of the sisters have been coming every day to get the job done.

That is some serious sewing. I wouldn't be much help. Maybe cutting stuff out. Do they speak English at all?
