18th de Septiembre part 3

The celebration for Chile's independence day continued through the afternoon with sack races for all age groups.
After lunch we had this typical Chilean desert.  It is called "mote con huesillo".  It is made with candied peaches that still have the pits (huesillo) and bulgar wheat (mote) that is served in the carmeled peach juice.  It is muy delicioso!

More races for the kids...the good ole egg on the spoon race.
Andrew, our monkey, thought it would be fun to get a different view of the basketball game that the elders and the young men were playing.
GO BJ!  Don't drop that egg.
