Evan celebrated a special birthday in April. He turned 8 years old.
He designed his own birthday cake. He wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting with mini-marshmallows.
He still likes to collect money. He has always wanted a 2 dollar bill.
He also received a couple of coin collecting book to organize all his coins.
And his very own set of scriptures.
This is a particularly special birthday because now Evan is old enough to get baptized. The above picture we used in his baptism program.
We were invited to have Evan's baptism in Arizona with his cousin Mackenzie who also turned eight in April
Here well are after the baptism.
Evan and his dad.
After the baptism we all had a great time hanging out in Todd and Katie's pool.
We made sure to get a family picture taken.
One evening we played a fun game where we asked Grandma and Grandpa and Mom-i questions about when they were younger.
We also enjoyed lots of sing-a-longs with our talented cousins Jace and Hanna.
The cool kids.
All the grandkids with Mom-i
We had so much fun with our newest cousin Emma. She is such a sweetie!
Congratulations Evan and Mackenzie!
