This time we tried the fish!

We went back to the fish market at Coquimbo, this time determined to come home with some fish.  We were successful!  We did not get any of the eel (Congrio) hanging in the back left.
We did not choose to try these little cups of seafood, including all sorts of raw mussels, clams, squid, fish and a bunch of unknown stuff that we will just call etcetera.  Maybe we will be feeling a little more brave on another day.  .

But, we did try the fish pictured to the left. It is called Reineta, which in English is called Southern Rays Bream.  It is sort of like a large perch.  Fish cost 1,500 pesos each, but we bought them already $3 per poun).  It is is a nice, mild, white fish. I broiled it with a dill sauce on the side. The adults in the house enjoyed it very much. We will have to figure out a way to get the kids to eat some
