Summer Road Trip 2010

We had a great time on our Utah trip this summer.  We did a few new things that turned out to be so much fun.  Here we are at the Bingham Copper Mine.

My sister put on this awesome barbecue for us.  Look at that yummy plate full of cheese burgers!  Ahhh. Summer.

My sweet little niece who will eat just about anything.  She likes pickles!

This place was one of our favorites.  This is the community pool in Lindon.  It is so fun.  They have a water slide and a lazy river and a lap pool and a toddler wading pool and a surfing area.  It only cost a few dollars per person.  We went twice!
We love you Matt and Alissa!

A big highlight of the trip was when we hiked Squaw Peak as a family.  It started out a little rough with some serious complaining from brother #1, but once we found a small cave, he was all in.
E going "granola" tying her hair up with sticks and flowers.
It took us about 6 hours, but we made it to the top and the kids all agreed the spectacular view was worth all the climbing.
This just happens to be the place that D proposed almost 14 years ago!

Another fun, but not quite as long hike was up to Timpanogus Cave.
These two were the cutest hiking buddies.  They never let go of each other.
"A" likes to learn along the way.
The heart.

We even managed to squeeze in a date night and got to hear the Utah Symphony perform at Thanksgiving Point.

A trip to temple square was a fun addition to the trip.
Thanks to all the relatives for housing us and for such a fun July!
